Haunted Forts Echoes Of War And Madness

Across the landscapes of Ontario are the remains of
19 th century military forts, they are solemn witnesses
to what was a turbulent past. The barracks now
carefully preserved once echoed with the sounds of
thunderous cannons, and the clatter of muskets and
soldiers shouting are now much quieter. If you listen
carefully, well maybe you can hear the wind carrying
the sounds that no living person was supposed to
hear. Fragments of the past now caught between
this world and the next.
